Innovation in Academic, Spiritual and Emotional Growth

The mission for the Music Department and Crown of Life Lutheran School is to teach students the balance of music within different musical compositions and the power of music in worship.

Preschool students experience music on a daily basis and have time set aside each week to listen to music, sing, and even make their own music.

Lower School and Upper School will learn about and use percussion and other instruments so as to add dynamics to different songs. We will learn about and discuss a wide variety of musical elements, including song writing, jazz, orchestra, the Psalms and other stories about music from the Bible.

I would love to have your child as a student in my class because…

  • We will joyfully use scripture, songs and games to learn about God’s Word and Music.
  • Lower School will prepare a musical for the Christmas season as well as learn the basics of musical notation and rhythm, instruments and history.
  • Upper School will focus on musical notation and rhythm (both reading and writing), instruments and history at a more detailed and higher level as well as prepare for a musical to be performed at the end of the year.
  • I will teach all grade levels Music from a Christian Perspective and that they can live their faith through music.

I would love to have your child in my classroom next year.  Please feel free to contact me anytime!
