Teacher - Katie Ailshie

Ms. Ailshie majored in Elementary Education at Hardin Simmons University and received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Abilene Christian University.  She loves making a difference in the lives of children and began her career working with at-risk children in the social services sector.  In recent years, she discovered her passion for teaching little children in preschool.   Ms. Ailshie has three sons and spends many of her Saturday’s watching them play sports, which is her favorite thing to do.  

Pre-K3 Scope & Sequence: 
  • Gross Motor Skills:  Running, Skipping, Jumping, Balancing, Throwing and Catching
  • Fine Motor Skills:  Learning Pencil Grip, Cutting, Building Blocks, Zipping and Lacing
