Our Crown of Life School is a friendly environment for students and their families.
In our early childhood classrooms, our little ones find friends and learn to engage with new social and emotional skills alongside a spiritual upbringing by teachers of deeply rooted faith. Parents, many who are experiencing the same feelings of dropping their babies at school, find friendships as well.
Those parental relationships continue all the way through 8th grade, navigating each season with friends who are equally challenged by the new things their kids are learning and the social and spiritual challenges faced by the youth who are navigating a culture often hostile to faith. Our teachers partner with parents to guide students through academic as well as spiritual challenges with faith in the Lord.
Our students, moving from early childhood into elementary and Middle School, face challenges together. Our House System is a great tool at Crown of Life to allow your kids to find friendship and mentorship with students from various grade levels in each house. Each year a student stays at Crown of Life, their opportunities for leadership increase, equipping and preparing them to make an impact here at Crown of Life and into high school and college!
Students can also explore creativity and physical growth in our extracurricular activities:

*Students in 4th through 8th grade are eligible to try out for and participate in volleyball and/or basketball during the fall semester.
Students at Crown of Life excel in high school, whether they attend faith-based schools or any of the area public schools. One teacher at an area Christian high school commented: "the incoming students from Crown of Life are always standouts. You can tell they are mature in their emotions, they are more-than-prepared academically, and they are often spiritually-rooted deeper than some of their peers, even those who started our school at Kindergarten.”
Students who complete 8th grade at Crown of Life leave with 5 high school credits and exceed at any of the area schools, including:

CHAPEL:
Students gather in the church sanctuary for Chapel each Wednesday for worship, praise, and a Bible message. A variety of speakers are invited to share God’s Word throughout the year. Chapel offerings support selected Christian missions both locally and globally.
Parents are always invited to Chapel and are more than welcome to join us.
AFTER-SCHOOL CLUBS:
These classes are taught by staff members and take place right after school for 8 weeks each semester. Offerings change each semester
but previous offerings have included Drama, Pep Squad, Chess, STEM Engineering, and American Sign Language.
BOOK CHARACTER DAY / PARADE:
Every year on (or around) October 31st, students and staff dress as their favorite book character and present a book to get others excited about their book. Special guests are also invited to read books to the students.
LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK:
The week before spring break is designated as Lutheran Schools Week, where our students participate in the annual Scholastic Book Fair, fun dress-up days, games, challenges, and mission projects. The week culminates with VIP Day!
S.T.E.M. DAY
Students in K-8th participate in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math special activity day.
FESTIVAL OF FINE ARTS
Students in preschool through 8th grade will display artwork in the gym and students in Kindergarten though 8th grade will perform. To cap off the event, the middle schoolers perform the One-Act play that they have been competing with. It will be a fun night of fine art and great performances.
